Shop local goods at the Flowery Branch Farmers Market, just a few miles away from the Sterling on the Lake community. Browse a selection of seasonal produce, newly baked goods, freshly grown flowers, and unique handmade items.
The market recently upgraded its venue behind the historic train depot, creating a lasting and protected structure for the vendors. Stop by on September 22nd from 3:30-10:00 p.m. for a special Sock Hop Block Party and night market. With so much to see and do, you’ll want to make the Farmers Market part of your weekly schedule!
Westside Fall Beer Fest
When: Saturday, September 24, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Where: Chattahoochee Food Works in the heart of Atlanta’s Upper Westside | 1235 Chattahoochee Ave NW Suite 130, Atlanta, GA 30318
Kick off fall at the Westside Fall Beer Fest and taste some of Atlanta’s best brews. Enjoy a selection of fall-flavored beer from a variety of participating breweries, listen to live DJ entertainment, and when you’ve tasted your favorite, cast your vote to select the best! Tickets are $30 and grant you 12 beer tokens and a souvenir beer cup.
Flowery Branch Fall Festival
When: October 1, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Hosted by Flowery Branch Troop 228, the annual Flowery Branch Fall Festival attracts a large crowd every year, excited for a day of fair games and tasty foods. Lining Main Street in Downtown Flowery Branch, you’ll find vendors of all kinds with goodies and treats including arts and crafts, local jewelry, boiled peanuts, BBQ, and much more!
Georgia Apple Festival
When: October 8-9, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., October 15-16, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Georgia Apple Festival has been a tradition in Ellijay for over the past 50 years. Taking place over two separate weekends in October, the festival includes more than 250 vendors and dozens of food stands to browse. Considered one of the top food festivals in Georgia, you’ll want to plan a short road trip to try some tasty treats and shop around at this fall festival.
Sterling on the Lake’s Fall Community Yard Sale
When: October 14-15, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Join us for our biannual Community Yard Sale on Wednesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 15. Stop by the Lakeside Clubhouse to pick up a list of houses participating in the yard sale and spend the day perusing for hidden treasures, antiques, and unique finds.
