Atlanta Winter Hot Spots

Sterling on the Lake is conveniently located about an hour from the lively city of Atlanta. With an endless supply of things to do, there is truly something for everyone! We have broken down some of the city’s hot spots for a fun, quick one tank trip from Flowery Branch to Atlanta:

  • Midtown: Also known as “heart of the arts”, Midtown is an area filled with excitement.

Start your day off with brunch at one of Midtown’s best restaurants, such as 10th & Piedmont, where you can enjoy classic brunch favorites, such as chicken and waffles. Continue the fun and check out Center Stage, the iconic Music and Performing Arts Center that has 3 different venues under one roof! Or catch a show at the Laughing Skull Lounge, where you can laugh the night away.

  • Downtown: If you’re looking for an endless supply of options, Downtown has plenty to offer! With over 300 restaurants, the choices are practically endless.

Atlanta is known for its skyline and top-notch food. For example, The Sundial Restaurant, Bar & View features an impressive vantage point for a romantic dinner. It truly is an experience you won’t forget.

  • Buckhead: This area is built around a walkable design, so taking in the sights by foot is easy. After you work up an appetite exploring or shopping, grab some much-deserved lunch in this stylish area.

Located near the top shopping spots, Doraku is a fun spot to enjoy Japanese cuisine. Another unique option is Storico Fresco Alimentari, an Italian grocery store and restaurant in one that prides itself on creating authentic dishes.

Sterling on the Lake is lucky to have such a vibrant city practically in its backyard. What are your favorite places to explore or dine at when visiting Atlanta?
