No day is like another at the Sterling on the Lake community. Perhaps your morning starts out with a jog along the trails through the woods in the early hours mist. The afternoon might bring a soccer game on the Village Green, or a refreshing dip in the pool. Dinner might include a neighbor's birthday barbecue at the Lakeside Pavilion or movie night at the Lakeside Clubhouse.
This is where you'll find yourself coming again and again. Set in the naturally wooded rolling terrain, it's a place friendships are formed and memories are made. Just think of the times ahead: warm afternoons spent at the pool, workouts at the fitness center, evening concerts on the Village Green, and laughter around the outdoor fireplace on one of the Clubhouse verandas.
It's hard to imagine a day when you won't visit the Lakeside Clubhouse. Meeting rooms, generous porches, and a veranda with an outdoor fireplace are delightful places to meet with friends. The caterer's kitchen makes hosting your own special event a breeze. You can even catch a movie in the 27-seat movie theater.
It's also easy to pack a little activity in your schedule with the 24-hour fitness center and playground. Plus there's a pool with a two-story water slide and competition infinity pool with waterfall. And with a full-time Activities Director, you can always count on a social calendar filled with fun events.
The Village Green is a stage for all sorts of community activities. A small amphitheater gently slopes into the pavilion stage, the perfect backdrop for performances. The Village Green is the site of popular community events including the Summer Concert Series, Harvest Balloon Festival in the fall and local theater productions. Plus, the grass fields are a favorite for football and Frisbee.
The 4.5 acre Village Park is the perfect place for gathering with family and friends. With plenty of open space and wooden swings, there's room for all. Spend an evening at the firepit where you can gather for s'mores and fun. Or spend the afternoon relaxing in one of the swings as you watch the kids frolic on the grass. Life doesn't get much better than this.
It would be an understatement if we said tennis is big in the Sterling on the LakeSM community. We don't just have one tennis center, we have two, and a third is planned. Our on-site tennis pro is there to help coach everyone from kids just starting out to our Men's C2 team who just won the ALTA City Championships. A rich tennis program welcomes kids, teens, ladies, mens, mixed and doubles players. We have also added pickle ball lines to our courts so our residents can optimize their experience.
Sterling on the Lake tennis is home to lively competition and community. Every year, Sterling on the Lake tennis fans host a charity tournament to benefit local non-profits.
Residents can reserve a court at sterlingtennis.com.
You just might think the Sterling on the Lake community is a nature preserve with wooded areas surrounding the three lakes. But more importantly, the trails and open space offer a connection to the outdoors and nature, providing residents with an opportunity to unwind and recharge. Vary your route to meander past streams, visit the waterfall, or just stop at a bench along the lakeshore to relax and enjoy the view.
The Hall County Spout Springs Public Library is a place for books - and a place for friends. With 28,000 square feet, the library has something for everyone. And at the Friends Café, you can stop by, order a fresh cup of coffee, a wrap, panini, latte or tea, then grab a book and curl up on the screened-in back porch to while away the afternoon.
